How We Started
EtheraEdge was founded by a diverse team spanning the UK and India, bringing together expertise in education, technology, and business. What united us was a shared belief: educators deserve better tools.
We started by listening—talking to tutoring business owners, understanding their daily struggles, and identifying the gaps in existing solutions. This user-first approach continues to guide everything we build.
Today, we're building EtheraGuru, our flagship product designed to serve tutoring businesses of all sizes, from individual home tutors to large educational institutions.

Where It All Began
It started with a simple act of helping. A student tutoring fellow classmates in his early school days, driven by a passion for teaching and seeing others succeed. What began as informal help between friends grew into something more meaningful.
Through college, university, and even while working at a bank, the tutoring continued from home—personalized, focused sessions that made a real difference. Eventually, teaching became more than a side pursuit. After becoming a school teacher, the natural next step was opening an offline tutoring center dedicated to personalized coaching.
When COVID hit, like many educators, the shift to online tutoring became necessary. Later, the center reopened, but something had changed. The business had grown, and with it came new challenges.
The Problem That Wouldn't Go Away
Running a tutoring center meant spending hours on tasks that had nothing to do with teaching—fee collection, attendance tracking, scheduling, student management. Time that could have been spent with students was instead lost to administrative work.
The search for a solution led to trying multiple apps and software platforms. But none of them truly understood the unique challenges of running a tutoring business. The pain points remained unsolved, and the frustration grew.
A Conversation That Changed Everything
A conversation with family members in the software field sparked an idea: What if we built the solution ourselves? What if we created something that actually understood tutoring businesses from the inside out?
That conversation became the seed for EtheraEdge. Soon, like-minded people from across the UK and India—both tech and non-tech professionals—came together, united by a shared belief. They started talking to other tutoring business owners, listening to their stories, understanding their struggles.
